The Thomas D. Egan Glen Rock Post 850 is facilitating Glen Rock’s tribute to those that have served our country to preserve our freedoms. Phase 5 banners will be added to Phases 1, 2 and 3, and 4. All banners will be displayed for Independence Day 2026. Phase 5 banners are $275. each. Phase 5 entries must meet all requirements and be received by May 25th, 2026. If you would like to honor a veteran (from Glen Rock only), and sponsor their banner that will be hanging off Glen Rock telephone poles, please scroll down and read Level 1 below.

There are two ways you can help us achieve our goals.
Level 1: Honor Your Loved One By Sponsoring Their Banner.
- Please complete and submit the on-line Banner Application Form below.
- Send in a check for $275.00 (price for banner and hardware) for a personalized banner to honor your beloved veteran.

- Prior to starting the application, please scan proof of service, and veteran's photo as directed below.
- Scan or upload proof of service such as DD214 or other documents.
- Upload a photo, preferably in uniform, that can be printed on the banner. Please use a flatbed scanner and scan it at 600dpi or 300dpi minimum. DO NOT USE A PHONE CAMERA SCAN, DO NOT SUBMIT PHOTOCOPIES OF IMAGE. Scan the original image. Save the photo image a a JPEG file. If you need help, ask someone who is familiar with using a scanner and saving an image.
- Show proof of residence in Glen Rock during the sponsored veterans life.
- Provide a lasting tribute to your sponsored veteran for years to come.

Note: To be eligible for a banner, the veteran is required to have lived in Glen Rock. All applicants will be researched. No submission will be finalized until accepted by the same criteria as all others. If an application is not accepted, the check will be returned.
